Medical
Huntleigh McGehee offers affordable healthcare coverage for our employees and their families; the coverage is effective the first day of employment. This program provides both in-network and out-of-network benefits with 2 plan options, including an HSA. The employee is responsible for a portion of the monthly cost for the health insurance program, which is payroll deducted. Prescription/mail order drug benefits are available.
Dental
Dental benefits are also available to employees and their dependents. The program gives you the freedom to visit the dentist of your choice and to select any dentist on a treatment by treatment basis. Dental coverage becomes effective the first day of employment. The employee is responsible for portion of the monthly cost, which is payroll deducted.
Vision
Employees may choose to enroll in a voluntary vision program and receive discounted eye examinations, frames, lenses and contact lenses through a national network including both private practice and retail chain providers.
Short-Term Disability
STD is available to employees in the event of a disability; the employee must be under doctor’s care.
Long-Term Disability
LTD is 100% employer paid and is available to employees if disabled, under doctor’s care and the short term disability is depleted.
401k Plan
401k plan which is a tax deferred investment and savings plan is available to all full time/part time employees. Huntleigh McGehee will match a certain percentage of the employee’s contribution. Plan participants are completely vested at their five (5) year anniversary. Employees can enroll in this plan at any time.
Life Insurance
Huntleigh McGehee offers a paid basic life insurance plan which also includes an Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit. This benefit is 100% employer paid.
Voluntary Term Life Insurance
Employees, their spouse and children are eligible to enroll in a voluntary term life insurance program for additional life insurance at competitive rates. This benefit is 100% employee paid.
Long-Term Care
The LTC benefit provides assistance with daily living activities for those who cannot care for themselves for a long period of time. This benefit is 100% employee paid and it is a portable policy that you can take it when you leave.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program is a benefit offered and provides employees with assistance in dealing with personal concerns that may affect their work or home life. Some of the areas covered by the EAP include: marital conflict, relationship concerns, parent/child issues, financial problems, identify theft, stress/anxiety, depression, legal concerns, child care, education/college planning, elder care, substance abuse, job stress, and weight management. This program is confidential and provided to employees/dependents at no cost.
Premium Only Plan, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Dependent Care Account (DCA)
Premium Only Plan - This allows employees to have their contributions toward certain benefit plans (health, dental and vision) withheld from their payroll on a pre-tax basis. In most cases the employee will save on the amount of payroll taxes being withheld from their paychecks.
Flexible Spending Account - This allows employees to be reimbursed for certain medical expenses not covered by their group plan and is provided on a pre-tax basis. The employee authorizes Huntleigh McGehee to withhold a specific amount from each paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
Dependent Care Account - This allows employees to be reimbursed for dependent care on a pre-tax basis. The employee authorizes Huntleigh McGehee to deduct a specific amount from each paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
Wellness Programs
Our programs are designed to educate and assist employees with a healthier lifestyle. We care about our employees and their well being. Huntleigh McGehee truly believes that the employees who participate will improve their overall health, reduce stress levels, and decrease their health care cost. The company will benefit by reduction in medical claims, increased productivity, and reduction in absenteeism. A win win situation for all! Annual flu shots are also available on site.
Time Off
Vacation Days - Annual vacations play an important part in maintaining the health and efficiency of the employee as well as provide an opportunity for rest and recreation. Employees earn at the rate of 1 day per month up to 10 days per calendar year during the first year of employment. Employees are eligible for 15 days during the second year of employment.
Sick Days – Sick days may be used for an absence, which an employee (or their child) is ill. Employees have a maximum of 6 days to use during the calendar year. New employees will be allotted 1 sick day for every 3 months of completed employment during their 1st year in which they are hired.
Paid Holidays – Paid holidays are scheduled annually. Specific dates are announced at the end of the year for the following year. We observe at least 9 basic holidays.

Parking is free and available in the covered parking garage.

Our dress code is business casual.

Employees are permitted flexibility with their work schedule, when approved by management. Flex hours allow staff members to avoid travel inconveniences, help reduce family stress, maximize productive work time, meet personal obligations, and provide additional support within the agency.
Referral Award Program
Employees are eligible to receive cash awards for referring candidates that are hired for a position at Huntleigh McGehee. The referring employee may receive an award up to $1,500.00.
Social Events
Our social committee keeps employees busy with scheduled events throughout the year. We’ve held social events that involve eating ice cream on hot summer days, spending an afternoon at the racetrack, and provide friendly competition by holding an annual chili cook off in the fall. In years past, we have helped others in the community by gathering and delivering supplies to animal shelters, donating items to food pantries, collecting clothes for shelters, and sponsoring blood drives for the American Red Cross. In addition, we have supported the Special Olympics opening ceremonies for the last 10 years.
