Michael F. Shanahan, Jr. Chairman, President and CEO Huntleigh McGehee

           

Michael Shanahan has served as Chairman, President and CEO of Huntleigh McGehee since 2004 at which time he purchased the company from H. Smith McGehee.  Prior to joining Huntleigh McGehee, Mr. Shanahan was Executive Vice President at Lockton Companies, Director of Marketing at Engineered Support Systems, Inc. and a Sales Representative for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club.
 
Mr. Shanahan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from Saint Louis University.

Mr. Shanahan serves on the Board of Directors of Backstoppers, Persimmon Woods Golf Club, Howard Park Early Childhood Center, Wyman Center, St. Louis Sports Commission, Saint Louis University Billiken Club, and the Kilo Diabetes Research Foundation.  He also serves as a member of the Habitat for Humanity St. Louis Development Council and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
 
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Shanahan and his wife have four children and reside in Chesterfield, Missouri.
