Captive Insurance

Huntleigh McGehee has decades of experience in evaluating, designing, establishing and managing Captive Insurance Companies all over the world, from pure, wholly-owned single parent captives, to segregated-cell rent-a-captives.  We are able to provide detailed financial and written determination of the economic feasibility of a proposed captive solution.  If a concept is feasible, we assist in the design of the program, the selection of the proposed captive’s domicile and the evaluation and selection of local captive management, legal, actuarial, audit and investment advisors.  We also assist in the coordination of the application process (and all the required supporting documentation), the establishment of the company and the procurement of reinsurance.  Finally, we provide ongoing oversight and monitoring/reporting of the captive’s results to ensure all providers, as well as members, are performing according to the plan.
